Ambush Pass

Made by MCKLEY, originally posted to Reddit, shared with permission. Find more of their work on Patreon. A sun-dappled forest road winds between ancient, knotted roots and mossy stones, the trees crowding in from both sides. A weathered cart lies abandoned along the winding path, its wheels half-buried in gravel as slabs of stone form a curving channel that threads through the woods. The route invites travelers to press on, wary of what might linger beyond the bend as daylight filters down through the leaves.
