The Flooded Quarry

Made by MCKLEY, originally posted to Reddit, shared with permission. Find more of their work on Patreon. An emerald pool carves a winding lake of turquoise water through dark, craggy cliffs, ringed by a dense forest. Three rocky islets rise within the center, their stone ledges offering perilous handholds as the shore slips to mossy banks and tangled roots. Light filters through the trees, turning the water and stones into a painterly mosaic ready for a cautious party to explore or contest.
